We paid £500.

That all depends on the value of the van and how long it is going to be before the final balance is paid.

We took £2,000 from our buyers last year, as it was going to be nearly a month before they could collect and pay in full. However, when we were buying from a private seller and collecting a week later, we only left £500 at the owners suggestion.
