Thanks to everyone who recommended Delfin Designs in their posts on this site.
We really want to big-up Derek and Craig at Delfin, they spent more than half a day changing timing belt, crankshaft oil seal and modding the gearbox linkages on our Compass Drifter on Friday.
It was well worth the journey from near Manchester, we are very pleased with the work all of which was completed despite with us both watching over them. As the weather wasn't good so we stayed with the van rather than venture out. The bill was very reasonable too!
As we are new to motorhome ownership (This was only our second long trip out) we are now confident our Talbot Compass Drifter is fit for the year ahead.
We also want to recommend Charris Caravan Park where we stayed for a couple of nights its just a few minutes from Delfin, it is a well kept, clean and welcoming park with very pleasant owners who made us very welcome.
