Due to bad weather in the Channel, Operation Stack implemented at Dover 31-03-10 today(no not an April Fool)
Queuing Lorries on M20.

Definately use the M2/A2 rather than the M20/A20, although been problems with the resurfacing of the Thanet Way, they were earlier diverting the Margate bound traffic down the A2 to Canterbury. Could all be back to normal tomorrow, check before you leave. Being holiday rush time, definately allow plenty of time especially if using the Dartford Bridge.

Thanks friends. we live near basingstoke, so we have the nightmare M3. then the wonderful M25 followed of course by the fantastic M 20,,,, so we are going to leave mid morning and if we get a clear run HA Ha,, we will park up and sleep.. OH THE JOY OF A M/HOME.. cheers again.. :thumb::thumb:

Sorry Froghopper did'nt realize you were over Winchester way, M2/A2 probably out of your way. Good Luck ,we'll be going over ourselves in 8 weeks.

No problem friend, years ago all us coach drivers used the M2/A2 it was not bad, have decided it may still be the best bet,, anyway it will make a change and another reason to motorhome, kettle toilet bed,, a different view,, thats why we love them,, leaving mi morn will just enjoy,, thanks foe chat. this is what makes this site the best,,,
