Wonder why they make dehumidifiers? :Smile:
We use one at home, not because our place is damp but so that when we put the washing on the ceiling rack (the old type on a pulley that you lower down) it dries it quickly - much better than a tumble drier.

Yes, we have used them for years, they are quite good at dehumidifying and drying stuff aren't they, that's why we have them in the 5'er and our static.

We don't use them when we are not in the vans but I fail to understand the logic of 'trying to dry the world' etc.

We heat rooms that are not perfectly sealed, we use air conditioners in rooms that are not perfectly sealed because we are aiming to increase or lower the temperature, not to turn the room into an oven or a freezer.

Surely a dehumidifier can be used to reduce the humidity in a room that is not perfectly sealed, no one is aiming to completely dry the air
