Can anyone recommend a small but effective, electric and/or 12v dehumidifier to keep in the motorhome please?

I doubt there is a 12volt dehumidifier.
What about the simple tray with the granuals in type, they are quite effective and cheap from discounter stores

Why would you want to dry out the atmosphere? :ROFLMAO:
Motorhomes have permanent ventilation so there is no point in using one.

Thank you, I do have that but would like something a little more effective. Electric is fine.

Have had a bit of a problem with a leaky pipe which is now fixed, but would rather dry things out.

We have a mid price De'longhi for use at home and daughter has a more expensive one of same make. Both are very effective in the large spaces of our homes.
I see that there is a compact version
Amazon product ASIN B000BP81DWWhen looking that up, some adds for smaller ones came up but I dont know how effective they are but I would think would do the job.
Amazon product ASIN B00NFRTVY6If I could find a way to put MH on hookup at home I would consider one myself as I did get condensation inside on the surfaces last winter. I think the air in the van heated up during the day with the sunshine and then temperatures rapidly dropped at night.

The way the proper ones work is by condensing water out of the air on in effect a fridge element run backwards so it gets cold. I would have thought unless you are on hook up one would be either very heavy on the battery or useless. The aldi one is 350w max 420w there are smaller ones https://www.debenhamsplus.com/p/798...MI1-W_heOx1gIVz7DtCh3fIgBTEAQYAyABEgKT_PD_BwE is only 24w but would still flatten a hab battery pretty soon and need emptying.

A dehumidifier is pointless in a motorhome unless you block all the vents. It will take out the moisture from the air surrounding it, only for it to be replaced immediately by the air coming in through the vents. The best way dry out an area is to keep the air moving around it by using a fan, and allow the ventilation to do it's job.
