Well, not completely dead - but certainly b******d!

I thought it was a good buy at £70.00 18 months ago, but with only a one year warranty I guess not. So now I'm looking for a replacement, this time with at least three years warranty, but I'm not having any luck finding one so far. Any recommendations?

ill add my thoughts :)... even with a good warranty if you say its knackered and return it they will want to know it has been charged correctly and kept charged.. I have had some good results with cheap batteries I bought just to commission/ test all the gear in van while I was building it and they lasted another 18 months before I replaced them..

Battery Megastore in Tewkesbury have supplied my batteries for year and the cheapest on ebay. Current batteries 5 years old

Watch out for warranties in batteries. Interesting small print such as for example 'we will not be able to accept the return of a battery unless it is fully charged' which sort of means you can't send it back if the fault is that it no longer holds a charge.

Thanks to all. Looked at Banner and seems a good buy, will order tomorrow.

Vanbitz sell Banner batteries and also gives Funster discount.

Thanks, Ray, will check with them before I order.
