Thinking of going to De Efteling in October, does anyone know if MH's can park overnight there.

About 20 years ago there was nowhere for them to stay overnight.

Have just had a look on a Dutch site and there are some saying you can park on the carpary overnight . But others saying you cant.

Maybe you can send a pm to onderweg he might know .

If I can find anymore information in the morning I will post it here.

Can't help with your question about parking but your post about De Efterling brought back some memories, more than 20 years ago I helped in taking our local kids football team to Holland for a multi nation Easter football tournament, apart from being memorable in such that our youngsters under 12 side won an open age competition in penalty taking against the senior Dutch national keeper keeper,(all 11scored):thumb:we took the kids to De Efterling as part of the tour and was thoroughly enjoyed by all:thumb::thumb:

Many years ago I tooky boys to the efteling. We stayed in the vakantie park duinlust (I think that's the spelling) in a tent. Walking distance from the park.

It also looks like there is a mini camping site nearby as well (mini camping Bernehoeve)

Another one is minicamping de hoefstal. It seems this one is 12 euros a night.

It might be worth your while emailing the park. That way you will get the official answer.

I would probably say that it's a no. But if you don't ask you will never know.
