Hi,

I am booked into a campsite near Bridport for a few days and was wondering if anyone knows/has any recommendations for locations within an hours drive where I can take a motorhome for day out with Dogs for walking etc.

Thanks
Luke

Hi, the Motorhome is just under 7m long, 3.2m high and 2.3m wide.

Thanks

Think you will find spot down by the coast but you may need to buy 2 parking tickets if you take two spaces up on car parks
I believe Lyme Regis is easily done within an hour

Not extra time but physically two tickets
One for each bay you take up
Some places will have mh bays

Lyme Regis has dedictaed MH bays at the lower car park. Not many though so get up early! Nice walks from there into the town or along the coast.

It's many years since I lived in the area but I would suggest you buy an ordinance survey map. All the coast for miles belonged to the National Trust and was part of "Operation Neptune".There are /were miles of footpaths and bridle aths. One of my favouritesight was "The Undercliff" (as seen in the film "The French Lieutenants Mistress" stretching between Lyme Regis and Axmouth. It was a truly magical if somewhat energetic walk.
There areally lovely walks from Charmouth overy Golden Cap to Chideock.
The whole area is/was a walker's paradise.
I'm afraid I can't help with parking, it's so many years since I was there.

Sorry correction, I believe it was "The French Lieutenants Woman ", not Mistress.
