Day Parking App France?

What I would like is to know is there an app that shows day parking in France (or anywhere in Europe really) where we can "do the tourist thing" and park legally. I have already installed a few that cover overnight parking.

Looking at scenic places like Reims, Troyes and Beaune at the moment.

In Devon we had to buy two parking space tickets almost everywhere due to no allowance for longer vehicles.

Ideas?
