Another one gone, the demon fiddler of Fairport Convention and The Strawbs. Music of my youth. Impressive how he continued to perform even after a lung transplant and signed copies of his obituary when it was published a little prematurely by the Telegraph.

Sad news indeed. I saw Fairport and Swarb in many other guises in my youth.
Just last year saw Swarb and Martin Carthy.
He was great
