Since April 1846 but have always camped.
ive been waiting over a week now for Nextbase to get back to me. When they do I’m sure their stock response will be as usual, you need to format the SD card!

Is that this ?

If so, one review says that it can't be left in the sun. Is this true?

Been on my van screen for 4 years never missed a beat. Australian company I think, they have a lot more sun than us.

The majority of dashcams use the same sensor and the same board. Even many of the big brands. There's very little difference between them. There's a few YouTube videos about it. Unless you plan on vlogging, most of the features the fancy ones add are pointless. Reliably is the most important feature. You want to fit and forget and hope you never need it.

Personally I prefer the models that use adhesive mounts instead of suction cups. GPS is useful for getting the correct time and adding speed, but not essential.

And if you've got blinds, think about mounting. I've ended up mounting mine upside down on the dash for my last two vans.
