Hi all

I'm trying to fault find why my dashboard step retract switch isn't working on my 2004 Starline 680. It works fine from the Hab switch, as does the warning buzzer but for some reason the remote dash switch doesn't want to play anymore.

I've been testing for any readings from the four wires connected to the dash switch and have nothing. I thought I'd taken a successful 'before' photo but now discover I didn't . I think the Brown went to the top 1 terminal and the Blue to the lower 2 but if anyone can confirm this I'd be most grateful.

I'm at a bit of a loss as to why the remote switch isn't working. The fact that the step works using the Hab switch suggests to me that the relay is fine. I've drawn a blank so any ideas of where to look further would be most appreciated.

Many thanks
Dave

If the switch itself is OK, and there is power to the switch, try cleaning the connectors.
