My M/H has been standing outside in the damp for the last three weeks, today I drove it to charge batteries ect, had gone about 3 miles and noticed the instrument panel was fogging up on the inside of cover. Do I have to worry about the engine getting damp inside? I did have the heater on and later seemed to clear.

It'll clear up. It's one of the reasons I leave a little electric heater on all Winter to keep the van aired. Humidity inside a van will be the same as outside if it's left long enough so some condensation is inevitable.

I can't be 100% sure on this but, on our last trip out, after the first night there was condensation on virtually the whole of the inside of the front screen. As the second night approached, i switched on the ignition and set the air intake to interior circulation only and closed all the dash vents. Next morning-virtually no condensation-it worked-someone tell me i am wrong. All other openable body and roof vents closed, whale heating on no. 1.
