Thank you for the photo's jujitsu what I have in mind, where di you route the power cable to please? When I was using a Nextbase 512GW, I mounted it on a sticky backed mount on top of the dash, fed the power through under the glovebox and then hardwired it in via the fuse box.
The dashcam stays in situ when the blinds are closed. You could use it upside down by the invert image option in the camera menu.

Thank youWe have a glovebox on top of the passenger side dash on our van which I removed to get access to mount a hardwired power supply for the camera and to route the cabling to the camera and across behind the dash to the fuse board by the driver's knee and piggybacked the power for the power supply onto an ignition operated fuse.
