l have 2x 8gb cards l am thinking keep one in it and as l do the other keep the 8gb on the side so can record post incident it wont record much but as stated will record incidents. Just saves a bit of extra money at the moment

I have a 32 gig card in ours works fine
Got it from Tesco for £10.00 so was cheaper than a smaller size
They still have them at that price !
I bought extra on for my camera as well at that price

Errrrrrrr... 6 gig should give about three hours at the very least !
I suspect hold do not realise just how much video can be stored on cards

Have a look at the following info and then decide what card size you REALLY need !!!

Got mine today, all working ok. only one question. does the software work with linux? I use Ubuntu mostly but can borrow the boys macbook if I am forced to. I am assuming once I have the video files on the laptop I can convert them for you tube etc?

Haven't tried to view anything on the laptop yet as my card reader is faulty. Soon as the new one is here I'll test it out. Everything else seems to be working fine....Thanks

No idea about Linux.. gave up with it years ago ( about red hat time )
The video's are odd.. I have only viewed them using the software that is put on the card when the unit formats the card

Would guess it depends on the file system the formatting tool uses but guess that Linux should be able to read if Windows can as Ubuntu should install both ntfs-3g and vfat drivers which are the Windows standard formats.

Sorry Bruce, you missed out mate.. I MAY do another order sometime next year for every one but it certainly will not be any time soon I am afraid.. All I can say is that should I not get a response from anyone you are on the reserve bench

Not sure if Hermes is the best way to deliver them - I work from home and my office looks out front of the bungalow but they just left in on the doorstep (ok there is a motorhome blocking the view but that doesn't stop the bell or knocker working) Second time in three days they have just dropped a parcel off without knocking.

I would advise you raise a complaint with hermes though. Ten to one on you are not the only person the useless git is doing it to
If Hermes does not know they have a rogue driver they cannot do anything about it
