    Afternoon all, just want to know the best dash cam to buy. Thanks Barrie

    I use an HP F250 which is superb and has all the features you could want, GPS, crash detection etc. I believe the latest model is called HP f500.

    I fitted a dragonfly..got a 16gb card and gives about 2 hrs recording before overwriting. It's got crash detection or manual lock of current recording to prevent overwrite ..
    No heads up screen but a compact unit that sits behind my rear view camera screen where a rear view mirror would sit..
    I put mine an an engine run supply and the footage is best viewed on a laptop..by removing the card.
