Had a Vicovation Marcus 4 for a few years but the internal spring will not allow me to insert micro sd card. Can't find anywhere to repair. Vicovation just palmed me off with another company that we'rnt interested.
Any suggestions on a similar or cheaper camera with an emergency record please?
If anyone know's of a company in the UK that does repairs I would be extremly grateful for contact details.
Thank you.

Our garmin (HD35) automatically saves the footage prior to a collision, or you can press a button and it does the same.

I think most better dash cams have a shock sensor included.
I guess it all depends how much you want to spend.

It seems to be a feature on most of them. Certainly all the ones I've seen.

Thank you Ian. There are so many on the market it's difficult to choose. Cheers.

@Boringfrog might still have a "Jaws" dash cam for sale?

I don't just want the shock sensor but I like being able to press a button and it records 30 seconds prior to button press and 30 seconds after. Hope that makes sense.

Four of us in the family had Mi-Witness dash cams, not cheap at £300 plus. Probably about 4/5 years old and each one has recently failed to record, supplier not interested in failures,’ that one is out of date, buy the replacement’.

No thanks, we now all have Nextbase 312GW dash cams which have an excellent picture reproduction, Emergency record, single manual photo if required and parking mode. All for £99.(y)
