I recently bought a dash cam for my motorhome and had it fitted direct to a 12 volt supply. I had an idea to use it in the back of the motorhome when I park it, not on a site, or with the dogs in. I bought an extra 12 volt plug and then realised that the fitting is the same as the sat nav - but the sat nav one falls out when travelling so it won't be wasted. I see that I can only download files to my phone via wifi when it isn't recording, but I am still going to try it as it may work as a deterrent. Also I can use it when I leave the dogs alone in the van if someone complains about noise. Just an idea.

Many have movement detection so only record when something is happening. This would extend recording time even with dogs who tend to sleep if nothings happening.

It came with a sticker that is now on the rear window. Also, I have found the option of the motion detector, which is called 'parking sensor'. Put it on the other day and it comes on when a door is shut. Will try it soon.
