I’ve just signed up for this as we lost our credit in the account when we couldn’t travel last year.

Does anyone know how long it takes to hit your account? Is it pretty instantaneous? I don’t want to be caught out thinking it’s gone through when it hasn’t.

Looking at our Dartford crossing account the receipt for our PAYG has come by email the next day and sometimes a day or two later.

Just tried to swap account type so I can preload it but you can’t do that without calling them … or sending them a form.

PAYG is so much easier as you don't have to worry if you have enough in your account or it running out, you just pay each time you cross automatically.

It's worth giving them a call about the credit you lost. I managed to get the credit refunded although did have to open a new account after.

I had an email yesterday saying my account would be closed if I didn't go onto the website and let them know that I wanted it to be kept open which is what I've done so we're good to go for another year.
