Serves them right for not letting motorhomes park in the empty carpark, woman came running out and told us to go away we couldn't park there a couple of months ago, think there maybe three cars parked.
Better by far to go to the next village ,sea palling, couldn't be more welcoming and nice folks in the few shops.
Loads of parking.
Not that many police in rural areasDid the police get involved.
RV pitched up , slides out and levelling blocks down with double yellows all the way. No excuse for all the cars either.

Many (but not all) of the cars are clear of the road surface. It is actually quite rare for Traffic Regulation Orders to include the verge. If it doesn't, many of those cars are legally parked.
Looking at the appropriate order (THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (WINTERTON, VARIOUS ROADS)(PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2014), I can only see reference to waiting prohibitions "along the length of road". This does not seem to include verges outside of the paved road surface.
The council really needs to amend their order to include verges if they wan't to stop people parking on the dunes.
Motorhomes not allowed in the car park, doesn't say anything about it while you are following the signs," to the beach" all the way from the main road.It could well end with posts along the edge to prevent verge parking. Not sure if drone photos taken at same time but if they were the cars could have been parked in the empty car park, so presumably avoiding a fee.

He isn’t actually parked on or beside the road that I can see.

Most inhospitable place we have seen in England, and it's nowt but a bit of sand when you get there.
That's my point though they won't let you park even camper vans on the empty carpark. There's a year round ban on cars/vehicles parking on Beach Rd which has been enforceable since Jan. Hopefully encouraging people to use the car park which is even nearer the sea.

And that's not all though, the woman that ran out to stop us looked down her nose as if we were going to rob her or something. That's my point though they won't let you park even camper vans on the empty carpark.

Quite, I agree with all that but my point is they could put a sign up at the main road, "no motorhomes" or similar, before you have drove down just to have someone jump out at you and tell you you can't park.We live close by, It’s a combination of Borough Council planning consent limitations for this privately-owned land (overnight parking not permitted) and “the minority spoiling it for the majority". Motorhomes used to be allowed but there were instances of the occupants attempting to stay the night by not returning to their vehicles before the evening lock-up, refusing to leave, or pleading that the driver had consumed too much alcohol to be fit to drive… with consequent verbal abuse.

A proud Norfolk woman !And that's not all though, the woman that ran out to stop us looked down her nose as if we were going to rob her or something.
Don't blame the bloke in the van if she treated him the same as us.
Totally agree. We had exactly the same response about 3 months ago, the car park was less than half full. The young guy (attendant) in the little kiosk almost tripped over himself in his haste to run from the kiosk and inform us with a big grin on his face "No Motorhome allowed" and pointing to a small sign on the kiosk. Rather than allow the attendants to use their own imitative and allow MH parking when there's room and the the car park is quite, the local council simply apply a blanket ban.Serves them right for not letting motorhomes park in the empty carpark, woman came running out and told us to go away we couldn't park there a couple of months ago, think there maybe three cars parked.

Have to agree, staying Norfolk at a CL we went there, drove about 0.5mile down narrow road following 'car park' signs to be told no motorhomes. Don't have a problem if they don't want us, but why not say so at the turn off the main road.Motorhomes not allowed in the car park, doesn't say anything about it while you are following the signs," to the beach" all the way from the main road.

The Citation (RV) doesn't look to be causing any congestion even if there is a parking ban. It's in a dead end past the carpark entrance.
