I have a Citroen Relay 2016 vintage with DAB radio, but not sat nav. Went out in the van the other, interestingly just after it was three years old, and the DAB just stopped working. Works OK on AM and FM. Now does not want to select the DAB option. Tried all sorts of variations but no luck. Almost seems that after three years and out of warranty the DAB stops. Anyone else experienced this or has a solution?

Just a thought, many DAB tuners have a powered aerial where power is passed via the aerial connection. Is this fused at the back of the unit etc. ?
The aerial may not be getting power.
You may also find there is a setting in your menu for DAB aerial power on or off. Has it accidentally got set to off?

May be a software update?

Have you tried disconnecting battery for a bit.

Saying that as the fiat punto radios have a tendency to lock up and lose various options like Bluetooth etc and usually requires a hard reset a couple of times to clear it.

Is it the VP2 uConnect 5.0 touchscreen unit? If so and you haven't had the radio software updated on a 2016 van since new it could be the reason, as DAB failure is a known issue that was fixed in a late 2017 software update. It may need a trip to a dealer.

Thanks all, I'll check the fuses in the first instances, although I don't recall any settings for the aerial Jake. It just seemed strange that almost on the third anniversary the DAB stopped working! It is still fine on the FM and to be quite honest is OK on that. DAB didn't add that much to the party.

Sorry Deneb, don't know which unit it is. Standard fit in the vehicle from new, so whatever the spec was at the time. I shall enquire with the local dealer to see what confidence they can instil and how much they want to charge for 5 minutes work.

Is it this one? Should be if it's the factory unit and is supposed to have DAB.

The software update takes at least 20 minutes once a memory stick has been prepared. Fiat allow 30 minutes for labour time.

Yes that looks like the one. Thanks for the info, will investigate with the local dealer. Thanks for your help.
