D46P form for licence renewal (1 Viewer)

Hubby will be 70 in 80 days time. I read online that the DVLA should have sent a D46P form 90 days before his 70th birthday to renew his licence as he wants to keep the C1 entitlement. That should have been sent on 12th May but so far he has received nothing. How do we go about getting one of these forms? It says that you can't download them online and to apply on a D1 form which you can download but that is a normal renewal form & he's a bit worried about losing his C1 entitlement if he does that? I know others that have done this & was wondering if anyone can tell us their experience?

so you didn't return a D46P? Just the D2 & medical D4

The D2 is the licence application and the D4 is for medical details

You can order the D2/D4 pack from DVLA on the Gov.UK website.

Yep, don't need the D46P for a C1.

Yes you need a D2/D4 application pack from the DVLA if you cannot get one from a main post office. Here is the link fir the packs to be sent to you by ordering on line
