Checking though the Plethora of hand books and guides for out new MH, I came across one small slip of paper with D+ and the location of this on my charger.

"D+" is generally used to denote the engine running signal derived from the alternator of your vehicle. I don't see any need for this information unless you want to add electrical items that require an engine running signal.

Orrrr...
If its a Brit van it might have been switched at sometime in the past to allow 12v systems in the back of the van to be used with the engine running...

Originally it meant 'Dynamo positive' but now almost everything uses alternators yet the symbol has the same meaning.

Or make an annoying beep if you leave your manual step down.
Or tell your AES fridge to run on 12v.

Thanks guys. I wish I had an auto step as I have been trying to set up dashboard settings, Sat Nav, Stereo and the like and every time I switch the ignition on I get that damed screechin - step out. I will keep the info in the pack, just incase I need to retro fit any such things that need 12V ignition. The EBL 119 booklet mentions this as well, so I don't know why I have a separate slip of paper. Too efficient Germans me thinks.xroll:
