Hi, I am a new member and would really like to get into contact with anyone who has a CVE Omni.
I would particularly welcome any sources of technical info on these vehicles, as they seem to be thin on the ground. Cheers.

I have a CVE and have converted it.

There was a contact through ebay who was selling copies of the technical manual I might be able to trace him as I bought a a original sales brochure of him.
Post a pic of your bus lets see wot you have done and swop ideas.

The first omnis had a Landrover engine configured for front wheel drive but istalled as a transverse engine,it failed.
You could try the Community Transport Association.

The Omni was designed and built as an accessible vehicle for wheelchair users and parents with pushchairs. The original firm went bust and it was bought and continued production,they had a lot of sales in Japan

CVE Omni bus

Hi

I have just bought an CVE Omni bus it is the one with the Mazda engine. I think!!!! Did you have any luck in finding spares for this type of bus as i am finding it hard.

another omni

hello!

new to the forum, just got a cve omni bus which has been taxed as plg and is declared as a motorcaravan on the v5. she was buiilt in 1990 but only registered in 1997, not sure what that's about....possibly means re-registered as motorcaravan 1997?

currently ironing out some basic mechanical issues eg filters and fluids, not sure where is best to get parts, nor what vehicles would have compatible parts - if anyone knows anything at all about this vehicle i'd love some information! can email me on paul_rush_1(at)hotmail(dot)com
