Cutting Shower Tray Then Sealing? (1 Viewer)

So since we have had the motorhome the shower tray has always annoyed in the sense that it fits so darn tight it's really difficult to get out. It just needs a little bit cut from one side approx 3-5mm will do and then it should be fine. If i do cut it do i need to seal it in anyway and if so what with?

Yes it will need to be sealed as it looks like ply. A good quality varnish I would think from the photo. Best to sand all lightly and seal all of it.

To remove 3-5mm, I would use a router.

It would provide a much cleaner finish.

Try to clamp a straight edged piece of wood in the appropriate place as a guide so that your "thingy"? doesn't wander.
