Cutting Shower Tray Then Sealing? (1 Viewer)

So since we have had the motorhome the shower tray has always annoyed in the sense that it fits so darn tight it's really difficult to get out. It just needs a little bit cut from one side approx 3-5mm will do and then it should be fine. If i do cut it do i need to seal it in anyway and if so what with?

To remove 3-5mm, I would use a router.

It would provide a much cleaner finish.

i've got a circular saw, handheld one cordless Dewalt thingy with a fine blade

Try to clamp a straight edged piece of wood in the appropriate place as a guide so that your "thingy"? doesn't wander.
