Custom mattresses

Mattress on the main bed is ok but not the most comfy for long trips. (its only about an inch thick) We added a double one of those self inflating camping mats under the mattress and it was a massive improvement.

Ony thing is the end of the original mattress has a curve in it to fit the layout of the van, so the camping mat sticks out a bit.

Anyone know where i could better custom mattress made and if such a thing exists, what sort of money are we looking at?

i dont know if they still do bespoke mattress but CareAvan in Birmingham made 2 for us several years back with mini pocket springs. maybe worth a phone call.

Not for our motorhomes but for one of our caravans we had very recent we bought a mattress topper
was shaped so it had two cut offs on one side, sent them a drawing with sizes and it was here in a week and was lovely and comfy

Duvalay . might even have your van details or send them the measurement's. different thicknesses. not the cheapest but we love ours. better than home!

In the area of SkegVagas (Skegness in Lincs.) there are several ??? Companies that make bespoke mattresses.

The prefusion of Statics on that length of coastline mean there is a trade for them.

Can't give you exact names but a search with 'mattress' 'Skegness' or 'Mablethorpe' should produce results

You could also make a Jolly out of it by staying at our Leaders C.L. Jim has a campsite at Sutton on Sea.
