I'm not sure if there's a choice of mattress types if you buy a new van, but we found our two year old used van beds too hard for us. It was difficult to get an idea of how the textures and foam would feel from the marketing blurb, so here's a short video that'll maybe help anyone thinking of doing the same. Lots of places offering the service and prices ranged from 300ish-600ish for both mattresses depending on spec. (we got these made slightly wider than the originals btw)
