Final job before the summer ... I’d like a curtain at the back doors ... I feel self conscious when Tim is opening the back doors and I’m still snoozing ?.
Maybe something interchangeable - voile in summer, something thicker in winter.
Now I can manage the curtains but what to do about hanging them? Are more holes inevitable?
Any ideas very welcome. Thanks.

Tricky to say for sure whether it would suit without seeing your exact configuration, but how about one of those rails for shower curtains that use a spring to keep them in place rather than drilling fixings?

I am amazed there isn't a manufacturer for these already, when we had a company van out in the rain we threw a tarp over the rear doors to make a shelter, a little more thought could make a nice simple to erect awning using the doors for support

having said that if I had such a vehicle I would love nothing more than parking with nothing more than a view between me and the view

I’ve just done a screen for the back of our Adria twin. It covers the bed area but leaves boot area free. Used some vinyl and a cheapo bedspread and glued them together. Not sure what frame the back of the Globestar has but I used sticky Velcro to hold them in place. I will see if I can add the photos as don’t know how to add link.

This is the view from our back doors with curtains hung with a rail. Google campervan rails, comes in handy in winter to keep it warm and nice in summer to keep the mornings dark!

We used the wind out handle for the sunshade to create a rail. We used 2 spring clips to hold it above the rear doors and shower curtain plastic hoops to hang a piece of strong canvas from the rail that we had made. The canvas was pretty light but resilient to rain if the back doors were opened during inclement weather so the bedding did not get wet. It was also a convenient storage point for the handle.

These are the type of clips we used so the handle was easily removed.

Just a simple curtain rail, so should be possible to replicate fairly easily.

P.S. The press stud is one of a row where the thermal screens included in the winter pack attach.

We didn't order the winter pack - I'm not even sure I knew there was such a thing, but the van arrived with it.

I didn't know such a thing existed either. I made rest screens for mine or of some insulating material as i don't have blinds in the rear and they are glass windows.
