well hot on the heels of seeing mr blackbird feeding his fledling

then at 08!30 this morning i heard the first cuckoo for us

isnt it wonderfull how nature compensates for differing weather

year after year

You'll have to come and stay on the CL one day - we have lots of birds down here to keep you amused! Everything from ducks and geese, to hawks and barn owls and all kinds of wild birds all resident!

I love this time of the year! When at work I am running around chasing late payers, and juggling urgent jobs - this place keeps me sane!:thumb:

This reminds me of when Diane's mum when she was alive was sat in my back garden and said I can hear a cuckoo and di says to her yes I hear one every hour it's our clock.:Doh:
