Simple really, best route to take from A23 coming from Brighton to avoid making mistakes of entering London's congestion area to get to the camp site?

When we went there twice we came from the North passed Heathrow on the M25, went down to a Motorway not M4 or M3 a bit further down I cant remember the Number , its only short, when you get off it follow the signs for Crystle Palace, you should come to the junction from Brighton from the other direction. Pete

There is a thread running at the moment on Motorhome chat about LEZ
Check it out . If you are 3.5 ton or less I think you are ok but if you are over check before because the fine is £200 ! The congestion charge is only £12 and you can get it on line . There is a free route avoiding the congestion charge again check route online . If you manage to jump through all those hoops and can stay in Chrystal palace the n 3 bus will take you to west end . Good luck .

I definately got a fine, our vehicle is 6 tons, and euro 4, so something was amiss ?

Go on the TFL website and type in the number plate of your van and you will know for sure.

Euro 4 should be fine.. ?? What was the fine for? .. First breach of emission zone should be a letter.
Congestion zone tho.. Which is much further into London .. No warning letter.
