2013 Euro 5 Ducato 130, the cruise control on my van is very, very sluggish in operation, it is slow to engage when asked to and then very poor at maintaining set speed. When it eventually decides to actually hold a set speed it drifts way outside what it ought to, both up and down with road contours.
I've owned a fair few earlier X250's (and older) with factory fitted cruise and never had one with such poor control.

So to my question, does anyone know if the Multieuscan allows access to the control parameters of the cruise module, or indeed if any of the normally available OBD devices do?

Multiecuscan. In the engine section there is a " reset self-learned functions" tab.

The notes say after resetting the state of parameters will be updated as follows. The presence of the cruise control is learnt at activation.

I'm none the wiser and have lifted this info from multiecuscan in simulation mode.
