I wanted same as Bev, Ralph's Bev not my Bev

But will go to €60, slightly worried about over and bust (y)
The BOSS (Mrs C) has decided to bend the rules as this is our final game and allow a guess from Jacob

However I'm not such a pushover - he can only bid as much as he's got in cash, in that little money box he keeps at your house.

Does a wounded Jacob get more sympathy

Poor lad has an infection and is on a drip overnight :-(

He has already saved up enough to bid €70

Bless the poor little mite
Hope he's better soon

Now here's a theoretical question for Grandad

If Jacob had leant you €40 towards getting your turbocharger fixed - how much would he have left in his money box

Just goes to show, you can live the good life without breaking the bank in Italy

Sadly everyone else's bid was over - so were disqualified.

We're heading home in the morning so sadly this is the end of our Croatian adventure.

Thanks to everyone for joining us, for your tips, comments and suggestions.

Hope you enjoyed Croatia as much as you did.

Next trip in 2 weeks

Destination unknown !!!

Ciao !

Since May 05 (Ex Tuggers).
with which we paired a jug of red wine
We ordered another jug of wine

Good grief. I reckon you two are a right pair of alkies, and make it up as you go along, then tip the waiter to add any old price to your itemised bill. ....................... ;)

Cheers,

Jock. ;)

P.S. Safe travels back up the road. (y)

...ah so now you are cheating... adding items to the bill... another jug of wine tut tut.
No cheating gov - honest!

We had two set lunches, which included a drink. Either water OR wine AND Coffee

Just cos they didn't show an item on the bill doesn't mean it wasn't included in the meal or charged for.

Once again the smiley peeps have entertained us, made our mouths water and frustrated us with the guess the bill quiz. Thanks for sharing again and have a good trip home (y)

Thanks Robert, as always I've enjoyed your holidays. Thanks for taking the time involved to post.

@DavidG58 just noticed your new grandson. Huge congratulations to you, Bev and the family, sorry to see he's poorly. Fingers crossed for a swift recovery, he looks adorable!

Finally managed to read the full thead as we are on a site Rovinj with blindinly fast internet the wifi is faster than my fibre broadband at home.
Although we don't do much planning I normally do a fair be of research on areas we are lighly to go to, didn't bother this year as too busy with daughters wedding and retiling the garage roof (finished 2 days before we left).

Thanks Robert your posts have given us some idea of where to head for, although you and others have said Split is not worth the effort the boss is insisting we go there. She also wanted to go to Dubrovnik but that is nearly 500 miles further south of where we are at the moment probably save that for a city break.

This morning we continued our journey northwards to Rovinj
Rovinj is yet another beautiful coastal town, however the campsite failed the @Lenny HB test, as the pitches were cramped and overcrowded.
I assume Camping Porton Biondi, it passed the Lenny HB test, stayed 3 nights. Had a reasonable size pitch at the top of the site, negotiating a 7.2 m van around the site with it's stone walls was not for the faint hearted but otherwise fine. Reason for a 3rd night was their blindingly fast internet. Restaurant wasn't bad either.
