OK we are travelling soon so confirming the route I am going to take
and the zones are Active are the ZFE ones where anything OVER Critair 3 is banned without authorisation

We are Critair 4 so have to be careful therefore as there is just one road from the A28 to the D18E (The N28/D28) that is not part of the Zone

Shame there's not an easy way around Rouen

we are travelling from tunnel n10 to spain new years day . bit of a last minute change from pompey brit ferries. we always pass through the Rouen tunnel over the bridge round and down onto the road alongside the railway yards heading for evreaux. i dont have a critair sticker will i hit the "zone" i have a 3.5 rollerteam euro6 2020

The only way through is shown on this map. It's the brighter yellow road labelled N28.

This Forum encourages Critair as there are so many Threads about it so it educates people as to its availability and off they go onto Google.
Outside of the Forum you would have to look hard to find out about it and yet there are thousands of Motorhomers that haven’t heard of it,don’t have it and the French ignore it,furthermore,l certainly have no knowledge of anyone being fined for not having one.
The ULEZ type zones are a completely different animal. I’ll get my hardhat 🤔

How do you find out which Crit air sticker you need. Our Motorhome was purchased new in 2020.

Critair update for info (and link to a useful site if you are planning to tour in France):

From what I was told last year te Critair system is not monitored with cameras like the ULEZ schemes in the UK. I believe you have to be stopped or spotted when parked up in a zone. Things may be changing though.

That is my understanding too, I drove through Rouen on route south the other day without any Critair and followed the N28 so will have to wait and see if I get anything in the post but did exactly the same route 9 months ago and never received anything
