If you followed my link in post #52, you'll see that 924 policiers were 'mobilised' in August for the campaign. All those tickets were issued manually. I haven't seen any suggestion here that cameras can, or will be used, for the Crit'Air issue - and even if they were, they could not use the DVLA database to trace the offender - so my other post #55.

Can you provide some evidence to support your suggestion?
This is also my understanding. I would guess that the Crit air sticker is not readable by camera to a legally enforceable standard.

The Process of applying for one is straight forward enough, and the cost of one is not prohibitive. If you go to France regularly, Purchase one stick it on your windscreen forget about it and enjoy your travels.

That's right for Germany, Spain to best of my knowledge none needed. Crit air is www.certific-air.gouv.fr.
Sorry needed in some parts of Spain, try www.urbanaccess.eu

Still need to get the spain one sorted , back to google:)
