Does someone here know if you have one (say the French Crit’Air) will it do for German cities requiring their version (the Umweltplakette) please? Or does one need both? Or vice versa?

Don't bother applying for the German one unless your emissions put you into their category 3 because all cities(bar one maybe) need that category, and if you don't have it you just cannot enter the zone, so don't need any sticker.

Does anyone know the best site for the German one and how long it takes to arrive

thanks
Al
I'll be picking up my new one, ( due to a change of Reg No), at Zell TUV Station on Wednesday afternoon hopefully.
I've had to get 3 x plakettes before now due to changes of vehicle or windscreens, and just walked in to any TUV Station with my V5, and paid for each of them there and then.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

An extra info re Crit aire. The ink on the sticker, is also the glue. Had a new windscreen so photographed the original and printed it. May not be accepted but shows willing.

I stuck mine to a screen protector and just take it back and forward from the windscreen, not had a problem yet.

When I had the Hymer, I laminated both the Criti Air and Umwelte Plakette, and popped them into a double tax disc pouch, stuck to the screen.

Cheers,

Jock. :)
