wheres good at christmas
Hope you don't mind me correcting your spelling!
With Dave .. Home ..
But to be fair, we have a pretty big family who all live within shouting distance ( literally ! ) of us, so Krimble is a special time for us.
It is rare to have less than 14 people sit down to dinner.. and Boxing Day is just as big as we all get together for silly games !!
Home this year.. would rather be away, but it would need to be somewhere warm..
spent Christmas in Spain 2006 .. that was nice.. will do that again..
We are booked onto a small site at Torver nr Coniston in Cumbria. Just over the road from a lovely pub and hoping to do some long walks and try out the beer there.
No family so do our own thing, usually go to Southport CC site. Walk along the seafront Xmas day, back for mulled wine in the van. Short walk to town for sales shopping Boxing day.
sounds good, which site is that then
It will be listed on UKCampsite. We booked a couple of weeks ago, and there were spaces left.
we have to be home. new grandchild coming on Dec 18th. so we can not go away.
Got to be home, as hospital December for pacemaker appt. but then head off to Canaries for two months. (Fingers crossed !!)
