Anyone got a crank-up Dish or flat-sat for sale please.
Possible swap for my Dome see my other post as for sale.
Need something simple and idiot proof.

I had a Maxview crank-up and it wasn't simple or idiot proof.. still need to use a compass and sat finder.. and when it was windy.. had to wind it down..

simplest of the lot is a BROKEN LINK .. that's what I have now, .. easy peasy to align .. and not that expensive , find second hand on eBay

Are you planning on going abroad? If you only need TV in this country, we have just gone through this process of which dome, how much etc etc. Having spoken to a PVC converter, they said if you are only travelling in U.K. why have a dome? They recommended a Glomex system which is an omnidirectional? Aerial You just fit and forget it.

Hi Ginny,
Got an omni directional aerial, but sometimes cannot get a strong signal, so have brought the dome s/hand just can't get it to connect up

We have a Maxview wind up which we are taken off our Rv. It will be complete with mounting plate if it comes off.

I’ve got a maxview satellite dish just taken off complete with sky box and digital sat finder if your still looking.

RGCH999 why have you removed it, was there a problem or changing for something better?

Firstly I found I was never using it. It was on the van when I bought it.
Secondly when folded down it partially covered the solar panel, and was restricting my solar input. After removing it the solar input went up considerably so was worth the effort.
