Found a couple of hairline cracks in one of the walls in the shower. It’s the wall that’s hidden when the doors clipped open and opposite the shower head, so usually have my back to it.

It was only when I had some sunlight shine through the skylight that I saw it.

Used a roll of white vinyl wrap and covered the entire wall, with the small air bubbles now sorted and flattened. Very happy with the results so far and a coat of Auto Glym polish across the shower and screen should see it beading away nicely 👍🏻

Please let us know how that lasts, as the other option is buy sheets of 2mm UPVC and bonding it over the entire surface

I will. I struggled and looked and looked, but couldn’t find sheets big enough for the job. It’s what I’ll do in the long run, but the vinyl looks good as a temp fix.

I did Auto Glym resin polish the wall first and then boy did the vinyl stick, I think it might be a bugger to remove again.

I want to know what you were doing in the shower in the first place that made it crack.:giggle:

It’s looking good and holding up well to being used. I’ve had smaller pieces in place for some time and it doesn’t get effected by the water, so win win and cheaper and easier than putting up UPVC, but I will if I have too 👍🏻
