cow moo'ing noise?!! (1 Viewer)

Can any one help, i have a Eura Mobil 760fb Tag 1997 2.5tdi fiat ducato and for about 6 hrs after a drive and the engine stooped and parked it make's what sounds like a cows Moo'ing noise from the brake servo/turbo area? any ideas or anyone had something simular?

Weird. I have no idea. Even if it's something like a leaky diaphragm in the brake servo, I wouldn't think it possible that it could keep it up for 6 hours.

We had this with one of our vehicles, never did find out what it was, but never caused any problems,

You could have a small air leak on the vacuum side, the noise your hearing is possibly the servo diaphragm 'groaning' as the air passes around it.

Sorry folks i should have said intermittently over approx 6hrs, We have sat inside and it seems to mo about once every 10 -15 mins each mo lasts about 2 -3 seconds, and great suggestion about recording it! Im going for a run out tommorow and bonnet up when i return and i will record it!

We do get some strange looks from vans next to us on sites!

Don't know how loud we are talking, but it's not your radiator cap drawing air in as it cooling down, is it, try loosening your radiator cap, when it's doing it,but not if it's boiling
