Hi all
Can anyone enlighten me re covid jabs? We've both had our boosters albeit about 6 months ago. Are we ok to travel in September or do we also need a negative pcr test?
Any help is appreciated

My understanding is that you are fully vaccinated if you have had the booster (3rd jab) and if that is the case you are the same as me and I have travelled to and from le continent on 3 occasions and over 6 months after the booster.
You will need to upload your certificate by means of the app onto your booking, if going by eurotunnel alternatively you can get a paper copy and this will cause you to probably join a queue in order to show it and attract french customs in all likelihood so getting the NHS app and transferring over to the souscovid app would be beneficial

Ah that answers my question thank you but begs another. I take it the souscovid is the French NHS app but how on earth do you transfer over?

I don't have a smartphone or any internet compatible equipment when abroad but just carried a couple of printed copies (one merely as a spare) of my NHS Covid certificate and which I had to show only at the Newhaven - Dieppe ferry check-in.

You don't need it, just copies of the NHS vax record either on the app or printed off and usually just to get on the ferry or train in the U.K. No one has checked ours in France entering or leaving and we've been across 3 times this year.

In theory your last booster needs to be a maximum of 270 days before your departure date.
You also need to print off the NHS certificate.

Two crossings to Netherlands and no one has asked for any verification

Okay the certificate app doesn't give an option to print. How do I get round this?

The NHS app allows you to print a pdf.
