Did anyone go to the Countryfile Live at Blenheim Palace last year and if so what did they think of it?
The camping seems rather expensive for a glorified THS unless it includes something that I haven't spotted - I believe that the entrance cost is on top of that.

I thought the show was excellent. Probably a bit expensive. Very hot this year.

Thanks for that, my wife is quite keen. Did you go in on more than one day?

Slightly off topic but CCC had their National Feast of Lanterns at BP a few years ago.

The grey water disposal comprised huge containers which required you to lift your waste water to a height of approx 4feet. Clearly not MH friendly.

the first country file live was excellent, but sadly the last one was not so good, but saying that i live close to Blenheim (mile away) so get four free tickets, will i go this year? doubtful.

We have been every year and we stayed at Bladon Chains CMC site which is next to the entrance of Country File

One day is not really enough if you want to see everything and remain relaxed. Best times are early or late, when the crowds are much less. You could skip the demos/presentations and squeeze it into a day, all depends on your need to dwell anywhere.
May be best to get a full show ticket then take your time. Buying ahead of the gate gets you discounts. It's not cheap, especially if you start buying stuff! I guess the on-site camping facilities would be convenient, especially for returning for refreshments or a rest.

It came as little surprise with the CMC booking policy to find that this is fully booked for that weekend :(

There could well be a cancellation. I'd contact the wardens and see if they keep a list for 'second chancers'.

Must admit we always booked a year in advance not going this year
