Hi,

Ive just looked at sites on the north coast of Devon offering 21 day in 2 day out sites inc EHU for .....

£3.50 a night versus £7 a day for our council TAX

180 days less the 2 day off site days in a year.

Camping and Motorhome Club

You can stay a Maximum of 21 days consecutively and then 2 days off site £3.50 a night.

So you could stay say 21 nights head off or a couple of nights. come back and fish bash bosh

Our council tax is £7.50 per day !

£3.50 per night on a CMC site, sounds more like a storage fee, not a pitch price.
I hope you are correct though, but there could be long queues from many van lifers when the word gets about.

I got Caravan and motorhome club & Caravan and camping club, but no Camping and motorhome club. If one of the first two, I doubt they have a site for the price you quoted.

No, it's a Seasonal Pitch on a CAMC site. See my post #11 above.

No, that’d touring prices.

The price I quoted was 180 nights (not consecutive).

So likely none available.

Also its actually £6.61 at that site (£1,230÷186) but still good value.

Yes, you are correct. But the price I saw was quoted as saying “stay for less” cheaper than 2022 !

Has a motor homer of nearly 24 years now , I always anticipated , the demand for these vehicles would increase prices, but , I never anticipated a pandemic , a war , energy prices , cost of living , global warming , I'm very grateful for those 24 years , so many changes now , I've adopted an attitude of carry on regardless , wherever I can , motorhoming is what I do , it's fun.
