started when I was 11 with my parents-forgot to stop!been real one since 1980!
Near to me there are 2 Calor depots,one in Liverpool,which involvea a £2.50 tunnel toll is attended and asks me if it is for domestic use,he then goes in to the till and charges me the appropriate rate. The other Calor depot in Ellesmere Port is also attended but they charge the full rate and say it is paid at source.no amount of explaining will convince. There is also a number of garages,but I don't expect the cashiers to be aware or able. There is a number of independent depots who,depending on who serves,will charge the applicable rate,except one which also staes it is paid at source. Another thing about indy depots is that sometimes they don't have the adapters if you have a continental conversion,stating that previous customers have driven of with them.
I let my old Hymer go with a full set of UK/Europe adapters-silly me!:cry::Doh:
