I have a 2020 Fiat Ducato based Chausson Motorhome on a ‘light’ steel (non Alko) chassis. The wheels are 5 x 118 PCD.

I changed the original alloy wheels for new after market ones at higher load capacity when upweighting. The new alloy wheels which came with new bolts. However I purchased a spare steel wheel but the new alloy wheel bolts don’t suit the spare steel wheel.

Can anyone advise what wheel bolts would suit the steel spare wheel please or tell me how I can find out.

Just a tad..
I’m assuming you now have more taper on the aftermarket wheel bolts to match a deeper chamfered wheel nut recess.

Steel wheels are usually a much shallower chamfer on the bolt mating surface. As long as the thread pitch is correct, you just need five wheel bolts to match the steel wheel. Will the original bolts not work with the steelie spare?

On Ducato's the taper on the bolts is the same for both alloy and steel, only difference is for alloy the bolts are 2mm longer. In most cases the alloy bolts will be OK in steel but on some chassis they have been known to foul.

Sounds like the new wheels don't conform to the Fiat spec.
What's wrong with using the original bolts from the steel wheels?

I gave the bolts away with the original Fiat wheels when I sold them - not thinking about the steel spare. The replacement alloy wheels are not Fiat and the taper on the bolt do not suit the steel spare.
I therefore need 5 bolts for the steel spare wheel.

Coastal Motorhomes usually stock genuine Fiat wheel bolts and they also list on eBay. They give the sizes in the details.
