ok people , going cornwall (truro) in august , places needed where i can go and park up, either car parks or scenic places, anywhere will be good, all you lot must have acquired a fair few decent places to visit, oh must be able to get 22 foot motorhome in.

In this months MMM magazine there is a travel article on Cornwall, and it specifically mentions a couple of places near Truro to park for visiting.
If you don't get the magazine put another mail on this thread and I will sort the places out for you

perranporth

parrenporth is nice and you can park in their carpark for £3.00 all day plenty of room for motorhomes as no marked out spaces and on grass right next to the town and a few hundred yards from the beach
you can't beat perranporth beach on a nice sunny day
great for body boarding and surfing
further afield is padstow where you can park on the park and ride again about £3.00 all day on a field with no marked out spaces you can also go into the town and back all day on the ticket so you can go back to the motorhome for lunch and then back into padstow
