30 years of weekends away motor racing.
We are off to Cornwall tomorrow for a couple of weeks, based at Carbis Bay, St Ives in a cottage with our grown up kids and there partners, but with a few days wild camping in North Devon at either end of the fortnight.
Any recommendations of wild camping locations in North Devon, and any ideas of locations to visit in West Cornwall, Beaches, pubs etc.
Thanks in advance, Paul & Corinne.

2010?
Beautiful area hope you have some nice dry weather.
St Ives my favourite, plenty to keep you busy, think there are 7 beaches around St Ives itself and plenty of pubs restaurants, walks all around there.
St Michaels mount Penzance is nice place to visit from there.
Wild camping at North Devon ? Not to sure about that one you will have to let us know but enjoy

Love Carbis Bay, to me it sounds like it should be in Australia . Lovely hotel there as well. . Enjoy your family time.
Sorry can't recommend any wild camping locations.

When visiting Cornwall we always like to spend a couple of days on the South Coast with Polperro, Meavergizissy, and Looe being our favourites. All three fishing villages have Motorhome parking but expect to pay £7.00 for a few hours if unable to find street parking in the area. Wishing you all a good time.
Dave.

You can park in the car parks at Bideford Quay, Appledore and Westward Ho! i think for £5 a night. May be able to wild on the seafront at Instow. We have stayed in the layby on the hill south of Widmouth Bay, near Bude. Instow beach car park is £12 for 24 hours and right next to the beach, less for shorter stays. Hope these help.
