Please can anyone recommend a suitable overnight stop for Cordoba? Most campsites are miles out and several listed ones are closed. We would like to stay 2 nights to have a good look round the city. Many thanks

We used campsite at Villafranca de Cordoba. Ten minutes walk into village and catch bus to Cordoba. Good friendly site

We stayed in the rough gravelled carpark close to the zoo and botanical gardens recently. Felt very safe with over 20 vans parked up for the night. Listed on camper contact. 10 minute walk into the centre

That's where we have finished up. Seems fine and quite busy too. Thanks all for your posts.

Thanks for the tip. Sad to see the campsite on Avenida del Brillante not far from the hospital has disappeared. Stayed there a few times in a tent. My planning to go for "Los Patios de Cordoba" next year will have to take more planning!

That’s where we stopped, absolutely no issues and free of charge too, plus there is a good dog walk along a track. There is a chargeable aire the other side of the zoo that is barrier controlled, but as it wasn’t fenced we couldn’t see the advantage of paying. Both locations are on search for sites.
