Cordoba help.

We can't find a campsite for Cordoba. Several are closed or too far out
We want to stay at least 2 nights to have a good look round. Any recommendations or suggestions? Many thanks

We tried to stay in Cordoba in April but couldn’t find anywhere that wasn’t full or that we were happy to stay on. After a couple of hours of driving around the city, towing our trailer, we gave up and moved on.

A pity as the city is worth a visit.

We stayed at Camping El Brilliante in 2018, longish walk to centre, but good bus from outside. Site was adequate for a couple of nights.

If you make it, be sure to visit the cathedral/mosque/cathedral. Night time visit is very special as they light up areas one at a time

We stayed on the Aire for two nights in 2019..location is 37.874709,-4.786296 walk across the road and you are within the old walls, just 10 minutes walk to the sites

When we visited in April we couldn’t get on the Aire as it was overflowing.

However, it was during Holy Week so may have been exceptional.

We slept in the town car park in 2019. It was marked for Autocaravanas and had an overnight stay rate. Very convenient, but it is just a gravel car park on bit of a slope...
