Cooking with Richard (simple easy to cook delicious van meals)

I’ve never heard that before Sue, is it the same with other acidic foods, lemons limes etc
No i love lemons and limes, eat the slices when i have fish or a drink. Have lemon drinks when i have a cold, it is just weird.

Nah, I'm not an avarice. You could say I'm a foodie or gastronome or even gourmand, but not avarice. La avaricia rompe el saco, as they say in Spain
My google translate couldn't make that quote sound sensible, translation please 😉

I wonder if citrus beans would work. Maybe salted lemons for those in Morocco.
Have used salted lemons, and mostly if vinegar is boiled out am ok, but raw stuff is not pleasant.

I'm unsure whether this is a tongue-in-cheek cookery thread, or real 🤔 . Either way, it makes me laugh 🤣
Bit of both really 😉😁

I know the MHF chefs won't like it and will have a good laugh, which is no problem, we all like a good laugh 😜 but it's great food we normal folks eat 🤗

Last Night we had Waitrose Breaded Haddock, Sauteed Potatoes and Mint flavoured Mushy Peas, (we found the mint whilst walking the dog so thought, that will come in handy).
