Following the recipe in the book the base sauce makes about 9 meals (3 days supply) I had to make it in a big cauldron after that though you can knock one up in 20 mins.Ian makes a good curry. There are two rules in the van for a curry night.
Close the bedroom door/partition
Make extra for lunch the next day!
When was the last time you cleaned that pan?Following the recipe in the book the base sauce makes about 9 meals (3 days supply) I had to make it in a big cauldron after that though you can knock one up in 20 mins.

Me thinks you don't understand how foreigners cook.can’t understand all those foreign vans and their lack of proper cooking facilities.
Might be because their pensions are better than ours and they can therefore afford to go out more!Steak nights cooked outside on a Friday
Delia’s spag bol ( batch cooked) for first night away in the van
Rotisserie chicken ( got our own rotisserie)
We cook as we would at home , can’t understand all those foreign vans and their lack of proper cooking facilities.
I only clean the insideWhen was the last time you cleaned that pan?
Curry lovers here too. We try to make one in the van most Saturdays. We mainly do BIR (British Indian Restaurant) style curries using a base gravy. There are a few we follow on YouTube, and we’ve also just bought a book called ‘curry compendium’ by Richard Stayce, AKA ‘Misty Ricardo’, who is also on YouTube. We have turned out some stunning ruby’s following and using these guys recipes. Al’s Kitchen is another firm favourite. All done in our ninja foodie I might add.Following the recipe in the book the base sauce makes about 9 meals (3 days supply) I had to make it in a big cauldron after that though you can knock one up in 20 mins.

don't use our oven very often apart from par-baked bread for brekkies.
Wossa Remoska?I usually cook a Sunday dinner. I put a whole chicken into the Remoska and cook roasties/stuffing balls in the air fryer. Then do two or three veg on the hob.
We have a foreign van, without one of those useless gas ovens.
Yes if you wantEvery now and again, we order half dozen meals from our local Indians, complete with stuffed naans etc. and put them in the freezer. We then extract a couple each time we go on tour or business in my case... so we can bung in the oven on an evening - and are perfect after 6 beers or so....
Does that count as cooking?
If you like Misty Ricardo also check out Dan Toombs the curry Guy https://greatcurryrecipes.net/Curry lovers here too. We try to make one in the van most Saturdays. An overpriced hotplate for outside use, beloved by many funsters.Wossa Remoska?
I thought that was a Cadac, Remoska is a glass lid electric oven thingy. An overpriced hotplate for outside use, beloved by many funsters.
same in many spanish houses , they use an outside kitchen in summer.During the summer and when in France/Spain, I cook outside. Who wants an oven on in the MH when it’s hot? We have a table top Cadac, two gas burners and a real BBQ for decent meat.
